ABANDONED REALM

Abandoned Realm

Wasteland, empty rooms, trees, mist, snow, night roads and firelight. After human order withdraws, the world does not empty out; it appears through a slower exposure.

After people leave, space does not stop.

I try to recognize the traces left by time in places shaped, occupied and abandoned by people, then exposed again to nature. The wasteland, empty rooms, woods, water, snow, night roads and firelight here are not meant to prove desolation; they let things once used, placed and slowly separated from human order reveal their own weight.

Abandonment is not simply a site being left behind. It is the condition in which people and land, order and memory begin to loosen, while things continue to exist.

Abandonment is not an ending. It is one way the world keeps appearing after human order withdraws.
